QUILTS (formerly Black & Pink NYC) works toward prison abolition and supports LGBTQIA2S+ people and people living with HIV/AIDS who are impacted by incarceration. We're sending out our January quarterly chapter newsletter to nearly 250 incarcerated subscribers in NY, NJ, and CT! We need lots of help with folding, stuffing envelopes, stamping, etc.
No registration required--you can just show up. All are welcome and you may come and go as you please within the event window. We'll have snacks!
Masking required & free KN95s provided.
Paid stipends available for formerly incarcerated volunteers.
