Today the U.S. Supreme Court declined a request to consider overturning it’s landmark decision to legalize same-sex marriage. This decision reaffirms what we have always known: love is love, and our right to marry and build families is not negotiable. Our lives and our dignity matter.
At BCPC, we show up every day for our community with programming and resources that improves the health and wellbeing of all LGBTQ+Brooklynites in all communities we call home.
We celebrate this moment with the thousands we serve, but remain ever vigilant. While this is a win, the fight for full equality and justice continues every day. At BCPC, we remain unwavering in our mission to uplift and empower LGBTQ+ Brooklyn, and to build a stronger, safer, and more inclusive borough for all.
