Program Information
QUILTS (formerly Black & Pink NYC) works toward prison abolition and supports LGBTQIA2S+ people and people living with HIV/AIDS who are impacted by incarceration. At Letters for Liberation, we answer mail from our incarcerated members. Join us in helping alleviate the isolation of prison! No experience or RSVP required--you can just show up. All are welcome and you may come and go as you please within the event window. We'll have snacks!
Bring a laptop if you can. Smartphones work, but a laptop is highly recommended. If it's your first time joining us, please try to arrive as close to the start time as possible for a brief orientation, and/or read/skim through our Letters for Liberation Guide ahead of time by going to bit.ly/quiltsL4Lguide.
Masking required & free KN95s provided. Paid stipends available for formerly incarcerated volunteers.
