First Fridays TGNC Swim Night- Pride Edition!

It can be challenging for folks of trans experience to find safe and affirming spaces to swim. Our goal is to create an event where we can all be our authentic selves!

We meet in Brooklyn Community Pride Center a community hour before heading upstairs to the pool. All gender changing rooms will be available and the pool will be closed to public visitors for the duration of the event. Please wear whatever swimwear feels best to you.

For our Pride edition, we are providing a TGNC legal information session with Andy Izenson, Senior Legal Director at Chosen Family Law Center, where you can ask questions about identity documents under the current administration. 

Andy will walk us through threat modeling - presenting several potential scenarios to assess the associated risks and considerations. Participants will have the opportunity to apply this modeling to their own circumstances in order to make informed decisions…
