The Brooklyn Pride Comic Book Fair is back for an incredible fifth year, returning to the Brooklyn Community Pride Center with more creator panels, comics, cosplay, and performances by LGBTQ+ comic creators.

Program Information
The Brooklyn Pride Comic Book Fair is on June 21st from 12 PM to 6 PM and is free to attend. It is a fun and accessible way to experience independent art and stories from marginalized voices. Previously a small outdoor fair, we are now a small convention, with many more art tables and art / comics related panels.
Sponsored by Anyone Comics, Geeks Out, and CAMBA's Brooklyn Outreach and Prevention BOP Program, The Brooklyn Pride Comic Book Fair began with cartoonist John Jennsison, a queer cartoonist who had battled cancer for the majority of his adult life. For him, comic books were an escape and an outlet. As COVID-19 limited access to conventions and comic shops in 2020, he created the Pride Fair to prove there was a way to do conventions safely for immuno-compromised individuals like himself.
