Join the Caribbean Equality Project at the Brooklyn Community Pride Center on Saturday, February 28, 2026, for the fifth annual Black Future Tings event. This gathering, themed “Beyond Borders: Empowering Black LGBTQ+ Immigrants,” celebrates Black History Month and over a decade of CEP’s dedication to Black LGBTQ+ liberation.
Amidst ongoing threats to Black queer and trans lives, this event envisions futures rooted in safety, dignity, and belonging. It highlights the experiences of Black LGBTQ+ immigrants, especially those from the Caribbean, through art, storytelling, and dialogue. By addressing harmful borders—legal, cultural, and systemic—Black Future Tings 2026 honors community resilience and creativity.
