About the event
In this course, learn about NewYork City’s vital role in queer art history and re-examine existing assumptions about the art history canon through a queer lens. All are welcome! The full course syllabus/outline is available here.
Each week’s topic will be supplemented with art-inspired craft projects and a journal prompt (please bring a journal/paper and pen, phone, or other device).
The final week of class will incorporate a field trip to a local art museum.
It’s recommended that registrants participate in the full 6-week course, but weekly drop-ins are also welcome!
