Brooklyn Community Pride Center, through the Bee Winkler Weinstein Fund of Stonewall Community Foundation, will award grants of up to $700 to lesbian, bisexual, queer, and transgender women and nonbinary and gender non-conforming individuals, ages 16-26, whose families have withdrawn support because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Grants can be used to cover the following items in support of your career:

• Metrocards,

• Professional Attire,

• Supplies needed to participate in vocational or technical programs,

• Enrollment in credential-based vocational programs.

 

If you would like to be considered for this grant, please fill out an application form and attach a copy of your photo ID. If you do not have a valid photo ID or if you have any questions, please contact Jako Douglas-Borren at jborren@lgbtbrooklyn.org. We do not want lack of photo ID to be a barrier.
