Queer Pickleball Pride Fest

NYC Pickleball is hosting a subsidized beginner clinic, followed by tournaments for various skill brackets. Part of the proceeds will be donated to Brooklyn Community Pride Center. This event is open to everyone in the community, LGBTQ+ and allies. Let's come together to play and raise money for a local organization serving our diverse and expansive LGBTQ+ community!

LGBTQ+ BEGINNER CLINIC AND OPEN PLAY 12-2PM: This 2 hour beginner clinic and open play session is subsidized for members of the LGBTQ+ community and will be hosted by Kat Preciado and Liz Kamel, founding members of our #queerpickle slack group and the players behind @queernycpickleball. Learn and practice the basic fundamentals of the sport, meet new friends, and play pickleball! Only 32 spots available. Registration Fee: $15 per person, all equipment provided.

OPEN DOUBLES TOURNAMENTS - ALLIES WELCOME! 2-8PM: Each tournament will take place on two courts, with 8 teams. Teams will be broken up into two pools of 4 teams each for round-robin play, with games to 15. The top two teams from each round-robin will proceed to playoffs. Semi-finals will be one game to 15, and finals will be a best 2 of 3 match with games to 11. Registration Fee: $100 per team, per bracket ($50 per player).

Only one member of each team needs to register. We will send a form to collect your full team information after registration closes.
