LGBTQ+ Futures Convening
It may be LGBTQ+ History Month, but we're thinking about LGBTQ+ Futures, especially for Brooklyn. As we work to build LGBTQ+ community in the greatest borough, we're bringing together as many LGBTQ+ leaders as possible to network and discuss how we build that future.

About the event
Our definition of Brooklyn LGBTQ+ leaders is vast - whether you work full-time for an LGTBQ+ organization, run a community project within a larger nonprofit, lead an LGBTQ+ professional group, volunteer to coordinate social or sports or cultural events for queer people, organize around politics or protest, or you are one of the many people working to improve LGBTQ+ health in Brooklyn, represent a church or manage an LGBTQ+ focused hobby group, we hope you will join us.
In an effort to better get to know the scope of resources available in Brooklyn, we're looking to meet LGBTQ+ leaders from:
- social services
- politics
- social groups
- activism
- sports
- business
- ERGs
- religion
- arts and culture
- support networks
- health and medicine
- online communities
- small businesses
- ... and so much more
If you know anyone who meets the description, please invite them as well. We'll have some light catering.Â
