About the event

This year's theme, "Embracing Ourselves" aims to uplift and empower LGBTQ+ individuals and in particular to stand in solidarity with our Trans and BIPOC community members.

The event focuses on the transformative journey of self-discovery and acceptance, reflecting on and celebrating our coming out stories. We will be providing a safe space for the Brooklyn LGBTQ+ community, in all its diversity, to fully express and embrace ourselves. We invite you to join us to this joyous space for our community to come together. (RSVP before Friday to get an exclusive 40% discount code from Revel to ride with pride on Saturday and all month long!)

The line-up of performances and activities, MC'd by Tia Carta (, will include:

And of course we'll have food, giveaways, and a raffle! Catering provided by Kylexus Kitchen, Oze Cuisine, and Blue Mountain Restaurant.

Embracing Ourselves is presented by Brooklyn Community Pride Center in partnership with CAMBA, GRIOT Circle, Stonewall CDC, Caribbean Equality Project, the HEAT Program, Project Stay, All of Us, Blasian March, and Reading for Black Lives and is sponsored by Agnes Gund, Viiv Healthcare, Gotham Cheer, Revel, New York Life, Gay City News, Heritage of Pride, and Ace Hotel Brooklyn.
