The Brooklyn Community Pride Center continues to grow! In June of 2013 we are moved to 4 Metrotech which allowed us to bring ALL of our programs in-house for the first time in our 5 year history. That said, we know we are not done growing and continue the process of identifying a permanent site for the Center.
At present, BCPC offers programs and events for the LGBT community including Youth and Elder programming, Community Education Panels, Legal Clinics, Financial Planning Forums, Peer Support Services and Social Events.
We search for our permanent location with pledged capital funding from Borough President Marty Markowitz and City Council Speaker Christine Quinn and will be launching a capital campaign in the second quarter of FY’14.
